Euphoria is an American teen drama television series created by Sam Levinson and produced with A24. It is based on the Israeli series of the same name. The cast includes: actor and singer Zendaya, trans fashion model, actress, artist, and LGBT rights activist Hunter Schafer, Eric Dane, Alexa Demie, Angus Cloud, Jacob Elordi, Barbie Ferreira, Austin Abrams, Storm Reid, Algee Smith and Sydney Sweeney.

Its’ debut with was episode named “Pilot” and released on June 16, 2019 on HBO. Its’ story is about a group of high school students dealing with all the ups and downs those fierce four years bring: relationships, love, sex, drugs, friendship, family issues, identity, violence, trauma and a lot more.

Zendaya plays the character Rue Bennett, a “lying, drug-addicted 17-year-old” and the daughter of her caring mother Leslie (played by Nika King). As the narrator of the series, her character mirrors a teen who is struggling with not only her drug addiction, but also with her self-identity.
Just from the first trailer, it was certain that euphoria was going to be one of the most breathtaking shows on television. And her mysterious tone makes it easier to think that way. “At some point you make a choice about who you are and what you want.” she says in the clip.

Euphoria is now streaming on HBO. In order to watch, you have to either have HBO with your cable plan, an HBO Now, HBO Go, or an Amazon Prime Video subscription. Before we finish our article we should note that this series talks about things like depression, anxiety and drugs but if you’re struggling with these issues yourself, this series may not be right for you or you may want to watch it with a trusted adult.
